Book to Action
It's Mental Health Awareness Month! Anaheim Public Library is hosting a series of programs to spread awareness on mental health topics and provide tools for processing grief. Programs are for all ages and include book discussions, yoga storytimes, art healing journal workshops, and more.
Readers can pick up a copy of one of the books below at your neighborhood branch. Each title explores grief and provides tools for improving mental wellness.

Book to Action is a program of the California Library Association supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
Kick-off Party, 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 26 at Sunkist Read Beyond the Beaten Path with us as we play fun games, enjoy free food, and try an exciting obstacle course.

The Friends of the Anaheim Public Library advocate for the library's welfare and strive to strengthen the Library's resources to the community. Proceeds from the book sales support the library's collection, the Summer Reading Program, and many other services.
Friends Book Sale, Friday, May 20, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at Central
Late Opening & Closure
Anaheim Public Library will open at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25. This change of hours will allow library staff to attend training.
Closed on Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day.
