Anaheim Reads
Save the Date for the next 2022 Anaheim Reads

The featured title is "The Best We Could Do" by Thi Bui, an illustrated memoir about the author and her family's daring escape during the Vietnam War in the 1970s. The story explores the challenges of building a new life as an immigrant in the United States while grappling with issues of belonging and identity. Copies of the book will be available at your neighborhood branch starting next week!

A variety of programs highlighting the book's theme will be offered for all ages at Anaheim Public Library from mid-February through mid-March.

Electrolysis of water, what's that? Mixmaster Emiliano shares the science behind electricity, water, oxygen and hydrogen gas with a cool experiment.

Supplies: One tall glass filled with saltwater, two sharpened pencils, one
9-volt battery, and alligator clips or tape.

Spend an evening with the New York Times Bestselling author and master of suspense, Allison Brennan on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 at 6 p.m. on Zoom.

This virtual program is hosted by the Anaheim Public Library Foundation (Tax ID #33-0672558).

Each ticket purchased will earn entries into the raffle for a variety of gift cards.
