Anniversary Celebration at Founders' Park
The Anaheim Public Library invites you to celebrate the 165th anniversary of Mother Colony House!
Built in 1857 by George Hansen, known as the “Father of Anaheim,” the small cottage has withstood many natural disasters, including floods and earthquakes, and now has become a staple in Anaheim’s history.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Mother Colony House, Woelke-Stoffel House, and Carriage House agricultural display and learn about the history during the ceremony.
The anniversary ceremony will be at Founders’ Park on Saturday, June 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
