Anaheim Public Library is a National Medal Finalist for Museum and Library Service!

The Institute of Museum and Library Services announced that Anaheim Public Library is among 30 finalists for the 2023 National Medal for Museum and Library Service. Anaheim Public Library is one of 6 institutions in California to be selected as a finalist for this award. The National Medal is the nation’s highest honor given to museums and libraries that demonstrate significant impact in their communities. For over 25 years, the award has honored institutions that demonstrate excellence in service to their communities!

Comics and Sci-fi Take Over Central Library!

Science fiction, comics, and pop culture take over the Central Library on Saturday, April 15th, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. with dozens of artists, creators, and enthusiasts. Get your picture taken with Star Wars characters, compete in a cosplay or trivia contest, meet Comic Creators from BOOM! Studios, make fandom-inspired crafts, and be there for the exclusive release of our special edition Grogu (Baby Yoda) library card!

Join Us for the 26th Annual APLF Mystery Authors Luncheon & Silent Auction!

You are invited to attend the 26th Annual Anaheim Public Library Foundation's major fundraiser of the year! The theme for the Mystery Authors Luncheon this year is: Who, What, When, Where, Why: Anatomy of Mystery, featuring a panel of three best-selling authors David Putnam, George Fong, and Rachel Howzell Hall, with award-winning author Sheila Lowe as moderator. Proceeds from the event go towards materials and programs at Anaheim Public Library!
