Haunted Anaheim

is upon us!👻

Sunday, October 29

1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Central Library

Listen to stories of local hauntings presented by Darcy Staniforth Anderson, a scholar in American studies at CSU-Fullerton and a tour docent for Haunted O.C. This program is all-ages but best for adults and teens. All Hallows' Eve costumes are optional.

From October 14 to November 18, Anaheim Public Library invites you to join a community-wide reading and exploration of the award-winning novel "There, There" by Tommy Orange.

"There, There" follows a large cast of Native Americans living in the Oakland area and contains several essays on Native American history and identity. The characters struggle with various challenges, finding strength and resilience in their culture and community.

Join us as we kick off Anaheim Reads on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Central Library with a keynote speech from Virginia Carmelo, a leader from the Tongva-Gabrielino Tribe, followed by a traditional Tongva performance and children's activities.
